How we benchmark.

The Fan Loyalty Index benchmark score takes into account a number of key metrics where loyalty has fundamentally been tested including but not limited to:

Average attendance vs year previous
Average attendance vs 10 year average
Loyalty index score vs previous year
Effects of promotion and relegation on attendance/loyalty
Effects of good and bad result runs on attendance/loyalty
Most robust/loyal fans
Least robust/loyal fans
Attendance +/- vs points per game
Attendance vs club catchment and population
Comparisons by league
Averages based on points per game
Comparisons by region
